Cop a load of this: the preview of Dangerous McDaid's JERSEY GODS that ran in a recent issue of INVINCIBLE, only now available for free. Recasting NEW GODS as an EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND-style domestic comedy mightn't seem like the sanest idea for a comic book, but its done with enough heart to carry it off, and McDaid's art is, of course, spot on. The none-more-Kirby dogs fouling the lawn on page 4? Gorgeous. No-one else doing Kirby Krackle quite as good as McDaid these days.
