*SPOILER WARNI... ah, fuck it, what do I care?

Any regular readers of Supervillain will know the special attention Sean and I are giving to the planned ANT-MAN movie. Basically, we've plotted and cast it, and are waiting for the call from Edgar Wright, re: assuming our position as executive producers. Anyway, bearing in mind how the production seems to be moving along, part of the plan for an inevitable AVENGERS flick, it's no wonder to see Marvel putting Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne at the heart of their big post SECRET INVASION push. Tangent. Grud on a greenie, but DARK REIGN sounds cheesy. Like a bad '80s metal album. Maybe by Manowar. Anyway, to spoil it good and proper, they're killing Wasp off, and it looks like Mr Hankie is taking a new "Wasp-Man" persona in tribute to her. Or maybe in tribute to Keith Moon. I dunno.

Anway, here's a new Avengers line-up. Note another Pym-centric character present: Jocasta, who I think started life as a robotic sex-doll of The Wasp created by his "son" Ultron. And as we all know, Ultron is the only Pym-villian worth a damn, and therefore a shoo-in for the movie. Plus, they're reinstating the old Jocasta/The Vision/Scarlet Witch love triangle. Oooh, complicated robotic sexual tension! Anyway, I look at this image and know Dan Slott is a big fanboy for the post-Roy Thomas, Shooter/Michelinie years of The Avengers. Just like Joe Casey. And me.
